Our tour guide will pick you up from your hotel in Aswan. And takes you for felucca ride on the Nile in Aswan (felucca is typical Egyptian sailboat) to the Elephantine Island. You will land to Lord Kitchener Botanical Island (Aswan Botanical Garden). The island was given to Lord Kitchener as a thank you for his services in the Sudan campaign (1896-1898). Kitchener’s Island lies in the middle of the Nile in Aswan and is home to over thirty varieties of palm and tropical plants from around the world. The effect is lush and exotic and attracts colorful birds, water fowl, and egrets.
