Sarandeep Tours representative will pick you up from your hotel in Luxor, start your tour in the west bank where you will visit the famous historical sites including :

Valley of the Kings:

The final resting place of Egypt’s rulers from the 18th to 20th dynasty, it is home to tombs including the great Pharaoh Ramses II and boy Pharaoh Tutankhamen. The tombs were well stocked with all the material goods a ruler might need in the next world. Most of the decoration inside the tombs still well preserved.

Hatshepsut Temple:

It is one of the most beautiful & best preserved of all of the temples of Ancient Egypt. The temple was built on three levels with two wide ramps in a central position joining the levels together.
Colossi of Memnon:

Two massive stone statues of king Amenhotep III are the only remains of a complete mortuary temple. The statues are made from blocks of quartzite sandstone which exist in Cairo then moved 700 KM to Luxor.

Move on to the east bank in Luxor, where your lunch will be served at a local restaurant, then continue driving to visit the majestic Luxor temple which was built by Amenhotep III and Ramses II for ritual and festivals and dedicated to the god Amun , then visit the Karnak Temples. It is the largest temple complex ever built by man. It represents the combined achievement of many generations of ancient builders and Pharaohs. The Temple of Karnak is actually three main temples situated on 247 acres of land .It dedicated to the God Amon, his wife Mut and their son Khonsu. Back to your hotel and overnight in Luxor.

Day 3Habu Temple, the Ramesseum, the Valley of the Nobles

Our tour guide will pick you up from your hotel to visit the Theban necropolis, start your private day tour at the Ramesseum, the memorial temple of King Ramses II. The Ramesseum temple is famous for its 19 metre (62 feet) high seated statue and weighing more than 1000 tons of Ramses II (of which only fragments are left). The walls of the Ramesseum temple, which is only about half preserved, are decorated with reliefs, including scenes depicting the Battle of Kadesh, the Syrian wars, and the Festival of Amon Min. Continue driving to visit the Habu Temple of Ramses III, was the last New Kingdom (1550-1080 BC) king to wield any substantial authority over Egypt.

The Temple is the best-preserved of the New Kingdom memorial temples. It is decorated with military scenes and texts illustrating the victories of the king, as well as the rituals performed and festivals celebrated. A royal palace was built at the south of the Temple open forecourt, while priests’ dwellings and administrative units lay on either side of the temple. Continue to visit the Valley of the Nobles, the tombs of ancient Egypt’s nobles and high officials were scattered through the rocky hills on the West Bank of Luxor at el Qurna site, the majority of the tombs dating from the New Kingdom, the Golden Age of Thebes.

Decorated with daily live scenes, funerals, and ideal afterlives of their owners, these tombs provide us with a wealth of information about life and religious beliefs in ancient Egypt. Their beauty also attests to the skill and creativity of the ancient Egyptian artisans.
Lunch will be served in a local restaurant in Luxor. Later back to your hotel and overnight in Luxor.

Day 4Luxor Museum and Mummification Museum

Check out after having your breakfast, then our tour guide will pick you up from your hotel by air-conditioned modern van to the East Bank of Luxor, to visit the famous Luxor Museum which display pottery, jewelry, furniture, statues and stelae were created by the Brooklyn Museum of New York. The ancient Egyptians believed that in order for a person to reach heaven it was essential that both their body and their name remained so their Soul would be transported from one life to the next.

Lunch will be served in a local restaurant in Luxor. Later on you will be transferred to Luxor Airport for final departure. Your flight has to be after 12:00 at noon to be able to do this tour.
