Day 1Arrival / Cairo

Arrival

When you arrive at Cairo International Airport will be assisted by our representative to finish your paper. From the airport you will be moved by a private A/C car to your hotel. Overnight in Cairo.

Day 2Cairo / Giza

Day Tour to the Pyramids of Giza, Sakkara and Memphis
Magic Egypt Tours representative will pick you up from your hotel, to start your tour by visiting Giza Pyramids:

The most substantial ancient structure in the world and the most mysterious. They were built over the span of three generations – by Khufu, his second reigning son Khafre, and his grandson Menkaure during the 4th dynasty (2575 to 2465 BC).

The Great Pyramid of Khufu:

The oldest and sole remnant of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. Over 2 million blocks of stone were used to construct the pyramid, during a 20 year period.

Then move to The Great Sphinx:

A limestone statue with а lion’s body and а human head. The face оf the Sphinx іs generally believed tо represent the face оf the Pharaoh Khafra. It іs the largest monolith statue іn the world.

Finish your tour to Giza plateau by The Valley Temple:

The only remaining mortuary temple at Giza plateau, made out of red granite and it was used for the embalming process.
Then have your lunch at local restaurant before you move to Saqqara Step Pyramid of Zoser:
The earliest large-scale cut stone construction, It was built during the 27th century BC for the burial of Pharaoh Djoser. This first Egyptian pyramid consisted of six mastabas of decreasing size built atop one .
Then move to visit Memphis City :

It was the 1st capital of Egypt & was considered to be a center of rule and culture for over 3000 years. At Memphis you can see the Statue of Ramses II and the 2nd biggest Sphinx all over Egypt.

Finally, transfer back to your hotel.

Day 3Cairo / Old Cairo

Day Tour to the Egyptian Museum, Salah El Din Citadel, Coptic Cairo and Khan El Khalili Bazaar
Our representative will pick you up from your hotel early in the morning to drive you to the Egyptian Museum, where your guide will show you highlights of the unbelievable collection of artifacts from the old, middle, and new kingdoms. The museum house over 250,000 genuine artifacts, including the treasures of the most famous Egyptian pharaoh, Tutankhamen. The gold and jewelry on display was enclosed in his tomb for over 3,500 years before it was discovered in the 1920s during excavations. . After a break for a delicious lunch, move to Salah El Din Citadel where Mohamed Ali Alabaster Mosque stays, also Al Gowhara palace built by Mamluks and Ottmanian, the Mosque of Soleiman Pasha and grants a panoramic view of Cairo from Moqattam mountain. Then continue your day tour to Coptic Cairo, where you will see such glorious sights as the Hanging Church. Located at the gatehouse of the Roman fortress, it is dedicated to the Virgin Mary and is the most famous of Cairo’s Coptic churches. Also there you will be able to visit the Church of Abu-Sergah and the Ben Ezra Synagogue, one of the most important Jewish sites in the city and a historic place of pilgrimage for North African Jews. Then proceed to visit Khan El Khalili Bazaar. The shops in this district are known for trading fine brassware, copper, perfumes, leather, silver, gold, antiques and much more.
Finally, transfer back to your hotel.

Day 4Cairo / Alexandria

At 6.00 am Pickup from your hotel in Cairo by guide to start your full day tour to Alexandria which is 220 k/ m away from Cairo. Start your day Tour there visiting the Catacomb of Kom El –Shoqafa . It contains tombs on 3 levels, also contains the Tri-cilium where relatives used to sit on stone benches to feast the dead. After that you will visit the Pompey’s Pillar, which was constructed in honor of the Emperor Diocletian at the end of the 4th century. Lunch at local restaurant in Alexandria, and then you proceed to see the Qaitbay Citadel which was built on the site of the ancient pharaohs (lighthouse) of Alexandria then to Bibliotheca Alexandrina from out side. Our final stop will be Montazah Palace.
At the end of the Tour transfer back to Cairo.

Day 5Cairo / Aswan

Check out from your Hotel in Cairo at 04.30 am and pickup from your hotel by our representative in a private, air-conditioned vehicle to transfer to domestic Airport to take your flight to Aswan, where you will be met and transferred to the 5* deluxe Nile Cruise. Enjoy your Lunch on board and start your trip by motorboat from Aswan to Philae Temple, which is dedicated to the goddess Isis and located on the island of Agilkia. The main Temple of Isis and its monuments were built between the 26th dynasty and the Roman Period. Then you will get to visit the High Dam, which created the world’s largest freshwater lake, Lake Nasser, once it was completed. You will then be taken on a short trip on the eastern shore to visit the unfinished Obelisk, which located in the ancient granite quarries. Finally return to your cruise.
Overnight on board in Aswan.

Day 6Aswan / Abu Simbel

Our representative will pick you up from your cruise in Aswan at 4.00 am to enjoy a visit of Abu Simbel by a private air-conditioned vehicle. The two Temples of Abu Simbel :

Two massive rock temples in Abu Simbel . The twin temples were originally carved out of the mountain side during the reign of Pharaoh Ramesses II in the 13th century BC, as a lasting monument to himself and his queen Nefertari, to commemorate his victory at the Battle of Kadesh.
At the end of your day-tour you’ll be transferred to your cruise. Overnight on board.

Day 7Kom Ombo / Edfu

Morning Sail to Kom-Ombo and visit of Kom Ombo Temple.

The temple is unique because its ‘double’ design meant that there were courts, halls, sanctuaries and rooms duplicated for two sets of gods. The southern half of the temple was dedicated to the crocodile god Sobek, god of fertility. The northern part of the temple was dedicated to the falcon god Haroeris.

Continue sailing to Edfu and visit Edfu Temple:

One of the best preserved temples in Egypt. The temple, dedicated to the falcon god Horus. It was built in the Ptolemaic period. The inscriptions on its walls provide important information on language, myth and religion during the Greco-Roman period in ancient Egypt. There are also “important scenes and inscriptions of the Sacred Drama which related the age-old conflict between Horus and Seth.” . While sailing to Luxor, stop en route to visit the Esna Temple. Then Continue sailing to Luxor, arrive Luxor late night.

Day 8Aswan / Luxor

After breakfast, join your private tour guide to visit the West Bank of Luxor including Valley Of The Kings:

It was the principal burial place of the major royal figures of the Egyptian New Kingdom, for a period of nearly 500 years. The valley contains 63 tombs. The royal tombs are decorated with scenes from Egyptian mythology and give clues to the beliefs and funerary rituals of the period. In modern times the valley has become famous for the discovery of the tomb of Tutankhamun.

Then move to the unique Temple of Queen Hatshepsut :

The queen who would-be king, Hatshepsut was a ruler loved by her people but always surrounded in controversy. See her spectacular temple in Luxor’s West Bank, one of the best preserved of its kind.

End your tour to Luxor west bank by visiting the Colossi Of Memnon :

The Temple of Karnak is actually three main temples, smaller enclosed temples, and several outer temples situated on 247 acres of land

Luxor Temple:

The Temple of Luxor was the center of the most important festival, the festival of Opet. Built largely by Amenhotep III and Rameses II, the temple’s purpose was as a setting for the rituals of the festival. The festival was to reconcile the human aspect of the ruler with the divine office.

Lunch will be served at a local restaurant then transfer to Hurghada for check in at 5* hotel.
